IMO, most don't care about OS to begin with (that might be cost which is why cheap android phones dominate) so excellent luck on selling ecosystem. What counts first to them is exactly what looks different and draws attention.
Even that is merely scratching the surface of what can be done with two cameras over a phone with the maximum amount of processing power as the iPhone 7 Plus, and I'm really hoping Apple allows third-party developers to utilize the machine and test out possibilities like refocusing and perspective shifts. But for now, you get zooming. We spent a lot of time shooting with the 7 Plus, and it gets noticeably warm by using the cameras for a long period; it takes a lot of processing capacity to meld those two cameras into a single unit. I'm very curious to start to see the impact on heat and battery life when Apple enables features beyond zooming.
